If you’re out of options and need a quick dish to make with beef then this it it! Let’s make this quick beef onion stir fry – It’s so delicious you’ll want to make it all the time. This goes so well with noodles or rice (I recommend jasmine rice).
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp shaoxing wine
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
Instructions to make Beef Onion Stir Fry
- Slice beef into bite sized pieces and cut the onion into slices

- Add the beef, green onions and ginger to a pot of hot water and turn the stove on to medium high heat
- Once you see that a lot of scum has arisen to the surface, turn off the fire and rinse the beef in a colander. Set aside.
- Create the sauce by adding soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, shaoxing wine, rice vinegar and cornstarch. Mix well
- In a large pan, turn the stove on to medium high heat, add oil and once hot fry the onions until translucent. Then add in the beef and stir fry for a few minutes. Add a pinch of salt for flavour

- Next add in the sauce and stir fry for a minute. Add a bit of water to increase the sauce and prevent it from drying out. Cover for 2 minutes to thicken.
- Best served with noodles. Enjoy!


Quick Beef Onion Stir Fry
Ingredients
- 360 grams thin cut beef steaks
- 1 onion
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp shaoxing wine
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
Instructions
