3 steps to preventing food sticking to your pan
- Heat up your pan without adding any oil.

- Add oil of choice and lower heat if necessary and allow to heat up. Add your food and start frying away without it sticking! It’s marvelous!
What’s the science behind preventing food from sticking on a non-coated pan?
Preventing food from sticking to a non-coated pan is based on a combination of factors. First, ensuring that the pan is properly preheated before adding food helps create a barrier between the food and the pan’s surface. Then, using enough cooking oil or fat provides a lubricating layer that reduces friction between the food and the pan. Additionally, avoiding overcrowding the pan allows moisture to evaporate efficiently, preventing food from steaming and sticking. Finally, using the right cooking technique, such as flipping or stirring regularly, helps distribute heat evenly and prevents hot spots where food might stick. Overall, it’s a delicate balance of heat, oil, and technique to achieve non-stick cooking on a non-coated pan.
