- 6 slices baguette
- 8-10 cherry tomatoes (quartered)
- 1 tomato
- 2 garlic cloves (chopped)
- ½ mozzarella (sliced or quarted)
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 3 basil leaves (chopped)
- 1 tbsp olive oil (extra virgin)
- butter spread
Let's prepare the ingredients! Cut 6 slices of your baguette bread. Chop the tomato, cherry tomatoes and mozzarella. Finely chop the garlic and basil leaves. Set aside.
Heat the olive oil in a pan and fry the garlic until fragrant. Add in the tomatoes and fry for a minute.
Lightly toast your baguette and butter (optional).
Place the tomatoes, mozzarella cheese on to the toasted bread and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
Enjoy!
Basalmic vinegar. If you fancy, you can drizzle this over your baguette.
Cheese. Feel free to use other types of cheese such as ricotta or feta cheese.
Bread. If you don't have baguette bread, you can use any other alternative - It works just as well!
