Fried Fennel Recipe

This is a delightful fried fennel recipe with green peppers and onions! So quick and easy to make and packed with lots of nutrients.

Equipment

  • 1 Fennel chopped
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper chopped
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper
  • ½ tsp Cayenne pepper

Method
 

  1. Wash the fennel and green pepper. Chop all the ingredients (fennel, green pepper and onion).
  2. Heat up oil in a frying pan and add in all the vegetables.
  3. Add the seasoning and stir fry for about 3-5 minutes until the ingredients have become slightly translucent.
  4. Enjoy as a side dish or eat on its on as a nice healthy snack!

Notes

You can totally skip the soya sauce and just season with salt and pepper. The fennel has a lovely aroma and flavour of its own that you want to be careful not to spoil!
